Training Description
This 8-hour basic training introduces participants to the fundamental principles and practical application of Gregg Shorthand. The session covers basic strokes, sounds, word formation, common brief forms, reading, and introductory dictation and note-taking exercises.

Training Objectives
At the end of the training, participants are expected to:
  • Understand the basic principles of Gregg Shorthand.
  • Recognize and write basic shorthand strokes and forms.
  • Apply proper joining and writing techniques.
  • Write common words, phrases, and simple sentences.
  • Read basic shorthand outlines.
  • Apply basic shorthand skills through guided dictation and note-taking.
Target Participants
The training is intended for beginners, students, office personnel, administrative staff, secretaries, teachers, and other individuals interested in learning the fundamentals of Gregg Shorthand.

Maximum Participants: 70 Registrants Only

Expected Outcome

Participants are expected to gain a basic working knowledge of Gregg Shorthand and demonstrate introductory skills in writing, reading, and taking short notes using the forms covered during the training. Participants will also have a foundation for continued practice and further shorthand training.
